← Privacy PolicyYou can permanently delete your ROID account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do it from the app and what to expect.
How to delete your account in the ROID app
To remove your account yourself, use the in-app delete flow. You must be signed in and use the ROID mobile app (iOS). Follow these steps:
- 1Open your profile. From the app home screen, tap your profile icon or go to the Profile tab to open your profile.
- 2Open Settings. Tap the settings (gear) icon or the “Settings” option on your profile to open the Settings screen.
- 3Go to Account Security. In Settings, find and tap “Account Security” (or “Security”) to open your account and security options.
- 4Select Delete Account. Scroll to the “Delete Account” (or “Delete my account”) option and tap it to start the deletion process.
- 5Complete the flow. Follow the on-screen prompts: confirm your identity if asked, read the summary of what will be removed, and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account. Once you confirm, your account is scheduled for deletion.
If you don’t see “Delete Account” under Account Security, make sure your app is updated to the latest version, or contact us for help (see below).
What gets removed when you delete your account
After you complete the delete flow, we remove or anonymize the data we hold about you, in line with our Privacy Policy. In general, that includes:
- Your profile (username, display name, photo, bio)
- Your posts, reels, comments, and other content you created
- Your health and fitness data linked to your account
- Your training programs and related content
- Your follow relationships, likes, and in-app activity
- Your account and authentication details
- Any Facebook-related data (e.g., from Facebook sign-in, linked accounts, or content shared from Facebook)
Some information may be retained for a limited time where required by law (for example, for tax or legal compliance), as described in our Privacy Policy under Data Retention. We do not use retained data for marketing or to re-identify you.
When deletion takes effect
Account deletion is permanent. Once you confirm in the app, your account and the data we delete are removed according to our systems and retention rules. You will lose access to the account immediately (or after any short grace period shown in the app). We cannot restore a deleted account or recover deleted data.
Other options
If you only want to take a break, consider signing out or adjusting your privacy settings instead of deleting. If you have a specific concern (e.g., data download, correction, or a complaint), see our Privacy Policy or contact us at privacy@roid.app.

If you can’t find the delete option, you’re unable to sign in, or you want us to process the deletion for you, email privacy@roid.app with the subject line “Delete my account” and the email address (or username) associated with your ROID account. We’ll respond and, after verifying your identity, process your deletion request in line with our policy.
